McGeady's Town Pub is a rustic-style Irish restaurant and Pub located at 39 S Monroe St in the heart of downtown Monroe. It is known that General Custer had his last drink in the building over a century ago.

McGeady's Town Pub is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner, and Nighttime Cocktails. Three levels of fun are provided for all to enjoy, whether it is a surprise birthday party, a graduation party, retirement party, or just hanging out with friends or colleagues.

McGeady's provides a private area upstairs with an elegant menu of steaks, chicken, and pastas by culinary trained chefs. The tasty private party menu is also incorporated into the new McGeady's Town Pub Dinner Menu.

We haven't forgotten about lunchtime. Homemade soups, tasty sandwiches and burgers, and daily specials, including our very affordable business person’s lunch have established a respectable and loyal clientele. McGeady’s also provides free downtown delivery to the local businesses during lunch as well.

McGeady's has made dramatic changes over the years both on the interior and exterior of the building due to the hard work of the new owners, Lisa and Frank Wszelaki. Both are natives to Monroe and both enjoy providing the best service in downtown Monroe. Frank and Lisa Wszelaki took over the rustic style Pub in March of 2005. They take pride in serving ice cold beverages and delicious entrees at a fair price. The owner’s two sons, Chris and Matt, have been a major part of the team since the family took over. Chris specializes in the dinner/nighttime area providing a fun atmosphere on all three floors. You can enjoy the 2nd and 3rd floors on Saturdays at Club Frenze where Chris provides amazing drink specials, the hottest DJ’s, and special events to keep Monroe coming back. The third floor was recently renovated into an open and relaxed lounge area with comfortable seating where customers can enjoy a cocktail. The second floor boasts a full bar and a dance floor for everyone to enjoy. Frank and Lisa’s other son, Matt, has recently graduated from the Culinary Arts Program here in Monroe at the Monroe County Community College. Matt brings daily and weekly specials into the mix to keep your taste buds wanting more. He also brings along a local icon, Executive Chef Kevin Thomas, who is the head of the Culinary Arts Program at Monroe County Community College and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Executive Chef Kevin will be with Matt and the rest of the McGeady’s team all summer providing the best tasting food in town at a reasonable price. You can enjoy our tender all you can eat Babyback Ribs on Thursdays or a juicy 12 oz NY Strip with an ice cold beer on Sundays.

McGeady's Town Pub provides Michigan Lottery games such as Megamillions, Pull Tabs, and a house favorite KENO! All provide a fun chance to win money while enjoying some of our delicious food and drinks. McGeady’s also supports Michigan Breweries by providing a wide selection of Michigan based Beers.
